Port Dickson, Polluted, yet it's where our memories linger

Sunshine 11

After falling into unconscious state (SLEEP) for about 4 to 5 hours, it's time for another entry! Well ain't it exciting to add entries into this blog, which means I have a bit 'extra' interestingness in my life.

Thought about the idea of taking sunset photos of Port Dickson. Although it's polluted to the extent that the sea water tastes bitter and very very salty, the view is still nice. I was tempted to hop into the water... and left my camera(and tripod) behind... NO... End up, wasted opportunities.

The Gamers

I think we forgot to continue this game of putting ugly make up for losers, in the midnight. Not sure whose idea to play make up on people who lost. Luckily I am just the photographer. I think it is still a good idea to have everyone's awful look taken down. Check out their ugly faces, which I like the photos ha ha:

Toss into the air of celebration

Tossing is FUN

Just back from Effy's birthday celebration.

Found and experienced some new technique! Ha ha.
It's called CAMERA TOSS!

How to do? Just change your camera mode to Long Shutter mode, and toss it into the air, in spinning circular motion! Play it at your own risk of course... If the phone slip it from your hand, good luck.

Tossing is FUN Tossing is FUN Tossing is FUN

Thanks to some 'swine doggy friend'(she) we chose to celebrate effy's birthday in a Seremban's local pub.

Effy the birthday gal!

To tell the truth, it's a bit disappointing, first time to these kinda places, I don't find it appeal to me. Although there was not many people, and it was just very casual and relax. Singers singing folk songs, dim light, friendly boss.

We had fun. I guess.

End note: lost weight again, from 60kg to 55kg... DAMN!!! Struggling to go Port Dickson, or not to go...

Last Morning in Hall 2, Room 131

Sunrise Roundabout

Did not have a good night sleep, rushed for a report that I didn't know how to write.

Been spending a lot recently. And the feeling of guilt keep rushing to me when I thought about the coming absence of myself in NTU.

Never realized I had accumulated so many things in my room over just 1 year! Packing of things was a pain in the ass. It was even worse when we were trying to stuff everything into our car. Luckily sis never came.

The Morning

Almost the landmark of NTU. I have been promoting this thing to my friends (being proud of NTU?).

I finally chose to go for the 'yam cha' session with old friends from form 5, after beating my lazy self to bottom of my heart. Saw friends that haven't been seeing in ages, and they all commented that I am now a skeleton. Well, everyone hasn't changed much to me it seems. Some of them still having the old hair style from 2 years back, some just have their usual 'leh feh' look. I am glad that I went. Although the self-vain me almost had stopped me from going.

Writing this is like writing the train of thoughts. No structure, no order.

Thanks dad and mum, for willing to sacrifice so much for me.

Good night.

Mount Climbing

After a night of insomnia, and seems like almost everyone didn't have a good sleep. Perhaps too excited to go on this trekking and mountain climbing trip in Kota Tinggi, Johor.

Bukit Pandi

We were trailing on the wrong way and found some Malay uncles and asked them for direction. They warned us that we might get lost if we go on our own, and advised us to get a guide. Despite Ms Kao's strong protest to venture into the forest without a guide, we continued on after asking for the actual direction from people inside the resort nearby.

Bukit Pandi

Gunung Panti in the distance.

The trail is actually easy to follow. I could see traces of human all along the path and those who had been here put up signs to direct us to the correct path whenever there was junction.

So many surprises awaiting for us inside the forest. The beautifully woven spider web, disgusting leeches, worms, insects, and interesting trails. The trails and staircase-like paths were actually crafted by the rain water washed down to the foot of the mountain.

Bukit Pandi

Bukit Pandi

Everything was so perfect until we were half an hour from the peak. The sky turned dark and rain started to pour down on us. Only realized, we forgot the PONCHO! We stayed there for 15 minutes, considering options of going down to the foot, which will mean another 1.5 hours of wet and slippery journey, or continue on to the peak. 3 other trekkers from Singapore, finally came to enlighten us. So, why not just continue to the peak since we would get wet.

After about 20 minutes of walk, the journey became harder and finally we came to a rock wall which was the hardest part. Inclined at almost 90 degrees, we step by step, climbed to the peak. Too bad, there was nothing on the peak that was rewarding us except the wind blowing onto our wet, soaked body and the mists. Helplessly stranded, and the Singaporeans advised us to start moving down to keep our body warm.
Photo taking was impossible.

The downward traveling was much easier than what I had thought. We stepped onto the stream of water, and follow the trails down, soaked and wet all the way.

I did not have any fever or cold the next day, neither did I have body aches.

This trip was just a small potato if to be compared to Mount KK.

the Gray Singapore

Esplanade

Spiky

Grayish sky.
These few days, Singapore was shrouded by grayish clouds and haze from Indonesia. Perhaps the sky is grieving for Sichuan. Perhaps it just wants to cleanse the air from the hazy air.

Cloudy Day

Rare visit from my sis. First of my family to come here and find some fun in Singapore. However, I think she was quite disappointed with Singapore. Well, conclusion: come only when you have Vitamin $, because this is such a place where shopping seems to be the best pastime.

Not much choices?

Esplanade Singapore

Special thanks to MT who provided a bed to both my sis and her friend Ting Le. Still very afraid to accept our gratitude it seems.

The second day is the time for ZOO. Yeah. And our favourite is of course the Otters who like to show off their swimming skill. Backflip, dive, and act cute. Main activities inside the zoo is actually just watching the staffs feeding the animals.

Cute otters!

Singapore Zoo

Singapore Zoo

And also Jacob the Sea Lion! He can imitate Dolphin and Seal, splashing water to the audience too! We got no chance getting near him, he was so popular everyone there wanted to be kissed.

Singapore Zoo

The zoo trip had a premature end. They were not used to walking so much, I guess.
I just know, after the tiring two days of walk walk walk, they can finally understand how the Singaporean girls manage to be so skinny.
