Film Snapped

Nikon and Canon

Ouch, I still cannot forget my love for Nikon... Haih...
Really wish I can have one Nikon FM3A... or any of these cameras, manual cameras are just simply so cool!

Bad Luck!
I snapped the film when I was trying to rewind it after finish my first ever roll of films! Bad Omen?!?
The guy in School of ART helped me to save the remaining film.
The first time I entered a dark room, I felt how it was like in a space with total darkness. I cannot tell the difference of opening and closing my eyes. Pitch black. I wondered how that guy work without seeing anything.
My film is then placed inside this dark canister to avoid over-exposing it.
My process: 49/72.

A new Flickr PRO account

After some consideration, I finally purchased it!
The flickr PRO account!
We exchanged our late Xmas gifts, Gab and me, lol.

Unlimited UPLOADs! Happily archiving all my photos now.

Some shots with my just-purchased tripod. Am not good in landscape/night scenes at all.

Nature: Idea

Still very obsessed with weeds, their ability to survive despite harsh condition.
They grow out of nowhere, but I hate them when they grow too dense.

I realize that I am too dependent on MSN Live. (disconnection from the world of MSN these few days)
It wastes my time,
It distracts me from my study,
but I still love to chat.

Confidence? Narcissism?

Narcissism or Confidence

Lighting: just window light
Backdrop: my door

It's hard to do Self-Portrait.
I am glad that the outcome is good.
Will definitely try again some other time. (Maybe when my roomie is not in room)

First time opening topic in Flickr too:

Before DSLR, IXUS50 was a luxury

I could not even afford a Point and Shoot camera myself just one year ago. I have to depend on the family camera which is this "old" IXUS50. Old because the technology changes too fast, although this camera is just about 1 or 2 years old.

Doing justice for K800i

Before I got my EOS400D, I have been shooting with K800i cameraphone. It is still my camera used to shoot daily life photos, or snapshots with friends. Quite impossible to bring EOS400D along me where ever I go.

Some artistic approach using this camera, among them, "Reflection of morning rays" and "22/w" are my favourites

Bird in Refugee

The hunters were around this little poor bird. I was so bad that I took advantage of this bird's fear to take these photos.

Someone mentioned about Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven here. Interesting.

Personally I think these two photos are the best so far from my Canon EOS400D.

Finally the blog is created.

The first post deserve some photos from Flickr!

Growing strong from the grooves of the cement tiles, but still, they withered after the stormy rain. I do not know the name of the flowers, too bad.
